Calling All Runners and or Those Who Need a Goal to Get Fit Again

The Ambulance Services Benevolent Fund Trustees are pleased to announce that they have 12 free places (to you as a runner!) for the British 10K London Race, on the 10th July, 2011, starting at 0930 hours.

The route takes in many of London's top sights and during the race you will be able to rub shoulders with many of the world's best marathon runners as well as many top celebrities. The cut-off date for entry and or alterations is 1st July, when no further alterations can be made.

If you are up for such a challenge the places are on a 'first come first served basis', so please apply early to save any disappointment.

As the race fees have been covered by the ASBF we would respectfully request that any money raised via sponsorship or other methods is donated to the on-going work of the Fund, a Charity which is run entirely by volunteers whose objectives are to help both serving and retired ambulance personnel in time of difficulty or hardship, thank you.

Please be aware that it is a condition of the race organisers that (1) all entrants will be able to finish the race within 2 hours (2) all entrants must be over 15 years of age on 10th July 2011 (3) all entrants will compete on foot and run entirely at his / her own risk (4) no animals (other than guide dogs), baby strollers, mechanical vehicles, roller blades etc will be allowed on the route.
