A dedicated facility for those wanting to boost their learning and development has been set up at Stansted station.

East of England Ambulance Service Clinical ops managers Jon Boon and Dave Brown have worked with general manager Jon Moore to secure the large cabin-style building which has recently been installed and is currently being set up with all the necessary equipment to carry out high level training.

Because of Stansted's position at the M11 and A120, it was felt that it was easily accessible for staff in the area and can serve very large groups at a time. It'll be used primarily for clinical updates, study sessions and journal club but Jon and Dave remain broadminded about its use.

Jon Boon said: "This is a major step forward. The ethos we have is to offer support to all operational staff who work in a difficult and demanding environment; it's imperative they have as much as support as is conceivably possible to carry out their work properly which includes clinical excellence for positive patient outcomes."
