Polaris Medical Services sale

Kroll, an independent provider of global risk and financial advisory solutions, has completed the successful sale of Polaris Medical Services Limited, a private ambulance firm for a number of NHS trusts across the UK, to Elite Emergency Medical Services Limited (Elite EMS). All 140 employees were transferred to Elite EMS as part of the sale.

Steve Muncaster and Benjamin Wiles of Kroll were appointed Joint Administrators of the Company on 21 April 2023. Following their appointment, the business and its assets were sold to Elite EMS.

Polaris Medical Services operated as a private ambulance firm service for a range of NHS trusts, including South Central Ambulance Service, South Western Ambulance Service, East Midlands Ambulance Service and East of England Ambulance Service. It also provided ambulances for events such as premier league football matches.

Elite EMS will continue to operate from the following sites, Maidenhead, Fareham, Heckington, Pinewood, Basingstoke and Buckingham.
