Children learn the basics

Friday, 04 December, 2009

Paramedics Gayle Waring from St Albans and Liz Hall from Welwyn attended the Camp school in St Albans to take part in their 'people who help us week.'

The children have been recently visited by the fire and police service and their treat this week was to meet up with local paramedics and see what equipment they use to help others in the community. Liz said: "The children were very excited about the visit and they even dressed up as medics and put bandages on each other. They really enjoyed the tour of the ambulance and watching the blue lights being switched on."
