The Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance will be celebrating 09/09/09 as Emergency 999 Day
The Trust hopes to highlight the important work of the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance as well as that of all the other emergency services.
Pat Conafray, Corporate Fundraising Manager for the Trust said:" Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust was in fact launched in September 1999, so tomorrow has even more important significance, and co-incidentally at some stage tomorrow, between 8am and 8pm we will fly our 11209th Mission.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who has supported the Trust, but also to highlight the fact we need to raise £2m every year to provide our life saving service.
"Remember WE RELY ON YOU .... SO YOU CAN RELY ON US"
