MEMBERS of the public are being invited to take a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the Welsh Ambulance Service at its upcoming Trust Board meeting.

You can find out how decisions are made and pose your questions about the running of the service at the meeting, which is being held in Bridgend.

The board will meet on Thursday 28 September at the Waterton Technology Centre on Waterton Industrial Estate, starting at 10am.

The Trust’s latest quarterly board meeting will be held from 10am until 1pm before a break for refreshments, followed by an engagement session from 1.45pm onwards, when attendees will be able to get involved and offer their views.

Chair Mick Giannasi said: “We are looking forward to seeing everyone when we bring our Trust Board out to the community in Bridgend.

“Anyone who has views on the services we provide is more than welcome to come along, and the feedback we receive will help us to shape how we deliver them in the future.

“You will also get to see our decision making in action as we continually strive to provide the highest standards of care for people in Wales.”

There is a busy agenda on the day and those who wish to attend are welcome to speak to board members during the afternoon engagement session.

In order to make your attendance as comfortable as possible, the Trust is asking that anyone planning to go along confirms their attendance in advance with Steven Owen in the Corporate Services Team by e-mailing Steven.Owen2@wales.nhs.uk
