Volunteer Opportunities for Keen Drivers

Devon Air Ambulance Trust has an exciting opportunity for lovers of the open road; we’re looking for a team of volunteer drivers to collect and deliver stock between or shops.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who is in between jobs, looking to get back into work after a period away, or a retired person who may want to offer a day a week to keep busy.  Volunteer Support Officer Rosey Oakes said “Volunteering for DAAT is a great way to serve the community and to contribute to our work saving lives every day throughout the county.  We have over 400 volunteers who are absolutely vital to our success.”

She added “Applicants will need to be relatively fit, have a friendly approach to other people and be able to represent the Charity in a professional manner.”

There are other roles available within the Trust too; volunteer admin assistants are needed at the Charity’s offices in Exeter, shop volunteers are urgently required in the 13 charity shops and box collectors in Exeter, Woolsery, Exford, Torquay and Croyde.

Please call 01392 466666 for an informal chat or email r.oakes@daat.org for further information and an application form.
