BMI Healthcare choose Medical Services as PTS partner

BMI Healthcare, the UK's largest private healthcare company, has awarded Medical Services a contract to provide patient transport services for its hospitals in London and in the South East, South Midlands, North Central and North West regions it was announced on Wednesday (2 February 2011)

With over 70 hospitals nationwide, BMI handles more than 250,000 inpatient and 1,000,000 outpatient visits a year.

In the first phase of the contract Medical Services will meet the PTS needs of the company's 15 hospitals in the capital, rolling out the service to the other 4 regions in England.

BMI hospitals work with the NHS under contract and the company provides 10 private hospitals and private wings within the grounds of NHS Trust hospitals.
