Emergency First Response Offers Instructors from Other First Aid Organisations a Crossover Option

Emergency First Response (EFR), a leading international CPR, AED and First Aid training organisation, offers a flexible training option to first aid trainers from other first aid organisations who are interested in "crossing over" to become EFR instructors. Trainers may complete the EFR Instructor Crossover by independent study.

EFR courses encompass adult, child and infant CPR and first aid skills, and incorporate Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) training and emergency oxygen use. The company also offers HSE approved First Aid at Work courses, specifically designed to meet workplace health and safety regulations. EFR courses are flexible in design to accommodate scheduling and training needs.

Emergency First Response has an expanding instructor base of over 35,000 worldwide, operating in over 85 countries. Instructor training is available for existing medical professionals, first aid trainers, lay first aiders and for those with an interest in first aid and a desire to teach it. Every day, worldwide, EFR instructors use their skills to train lay rescuers in life-saving techniques, and supplement their income in the process.

EFR courses also offer an independent study component at participant level, which students may complete prior to attending class. They arrive for class with a predetermined knowledge base, which allows the instructor to focus on student skill development. This, coupled with the excellent quality of the Emergency First Response course materials, makes EFR attractive to instructors from other certifying organisations. With unparalleled experience in educational design EFR has created a simplified CPR and first aid training system that builds confidence in lay rescuers and increases their willingness to respond when faced with a medical emergency.
