AMBULANCE SERVICES BENEVOLENT FUND Announces Gala Charity Weekend

From Friday 3rd July through to Sunday 5th July 2009, Harrogate, the former home of the famous Ambex conference and exhibition, will play host to a brand new charity gala weekend of fund-raising events for the UK ambulance services' very own charity: the Ambulance Services Benevolent Fund.

Friday 3rd July will be the Norman Lakin Golf Challenge taking place at Rudding Park, Harrogate, 18 hole, par 72 golf course. The evening will be a fundraising social event at the Majestic Hotel.

Saturday 4th will see the Majestic Hotel host the first- ever ASBF Fundraising Dinner, headlined by keynote speaker, Simon Weston OBE, the ASBF's patron and by London ambulance E.M.T. turned best-selling writer Tom Reynolds.

In attendance at the dinner will be honoured guests including London's CEO Peter Bradley CBE and Alan Murray, CEO of the Welsh Ambulance Service.

The evening will end with a charity auction.

Sunday morning the ASBF will be holding its AGM, to which everyone is invited.
