COME ALONG TO THE LOW COST HOME OWNERSHIP OPEN DAY 30TH OCTOBER 2009 from 1pm to 7pm

Are you working but on a low or moderate income? Owning or renting your own home could be more affordable than you think

Hounslow Council in partnership with Registered Social Landlords, Developers and Housing Options are working together to offer affordable housing options to all who either live or work in the Borough of Hounslow.

This special and exciting event on Friday 30th October 2009 will have exhibitors from all the providers of housing options. Registered Social Landlords, Developers, Housing Options, Hounslow Homes, Independent Financial Advisers, solicitors, mortgage advisers and council officers will be available to discuss your housing needs.

Hounslow Council works with a range of housing organisations to ensure that a number of new apartments and houses are made available to those in work, and on moderate incomes.

Representatives from these housing organisations will be showcasing their developments at this event.

• You will be able to see new homes that have been recently built in towns across the Borough and how to get hold of one

• There will be representatives from solicitors firms, mortgage companies and Independent Financial Advisers advising on how to arrange a mortgage and providing answers to other application, eligibility, financial and legal questions

• Council officers will be on hand to help with your home ownership queries

• There will be advice and information on Council and Government schemes run by the Governments HomeBuy agent Housing Options

There is no parking available at the Civic Centre so people are asked to come by public transport. Hounslow Central tube station is a short walk from the Civic Centre and the H20 bus stops at the Civic Centre.

For people who cannot attend, more details about some of these schemes are available by logging onto the Council's website at www.hounslow.gov.uk/keyworker
