The Role

You will be joining a team with a well established reputation for high quality cutting edge education. As part of the role you will work in collaboration with London Ambulance Service NHS Trust (LAS) and South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SECamb). You will benefit from the centre for paramedic sciences expertise in undergraduate and postgraduate degree education, and will be expected to take an active and developing role.

Your main role will be working in the state of the art Dedicated Paramedic simulation Centre. This consists of a skills Lab, simulation suite and interactive Immersion simulation environment. Your will be working in a team delivering clinical skills and simulation for BSc and Post Registration/graduate development. Your role will be to support the senior lecturer team with its educational role. Setting up and clearing away equipment, maintenance, stock control, repairs and equipment flow and load operation. Design and operation of interactive immersive software and I simulate technology’s.

The Person

A motivated, hardworking, dedicated, autonomous individual able to think on their feet and able to improvise and resolve issues. IT literate and able to set up and run software and technology’s around simulation. Experience in simulation and manikin control and maintenance are desirable but not essential as training can be supplied. Experience of pre hospital working is essential in a supportive or operational role. An understanding of pre-hospital equipment and vehicles is essential in day to day operation.
