Are you interested in a career with a first class Ambulance Service? The North
East Ambulance Service (NEAS), rated as 2009 Ambulance Trust of the Year, is
always looking to recruit people who can share our commitment to delivering
high standards through ongoing training and development, whatever the role.
You will be responsible in assisting the Business Manager in planning driver
training courses for both IHCD D1 and D2 entitlements and be actively involved
in the delivery of this training to ambulance personnel. You will work closely
with the Business Manager to advise and assist in matters of the procurement
and deployment of vehicles and equipment and to work closely with the Education Leads to annually assess the driving training and development needs of all staff within the Trust.

It is essential candidates must be a IHCD qualified driving instructor, have
relevant working experience in the direct delivery of driver training and have a
high level of clinical driving knowledge. You must have excellent communication,
organisational, presentation and report writing skills and must be willing to work
flexibly between various training school locations around the Trust.

You must have the ability to work as an individual and work within a team as
you will be liaising with different departments within the Trust. You must also be able to demonstrate a positive approach to your own continuing personal
and professional development and be able to provide evidence of this.
