Thames Valley Air Ambulance is an incredibly well supported charity committed to enhancing patient care through innovation, research and continued training and education of our clinical team.

There are several opportunities to join the team that provides a Critical Care response to the scene of an incident and, where necessary, supports safe in-transit care en route to hospital.

CLINICAL SERVICES MANAGER

You will lead the clinical department reporting to the Director of Operations. You will be responsible for the day to day organisation and management of the clinical department, while providing clear leadership to all clinical staff and supporting charity initiatives.

SENIOR CRITICAL CARE PARAMEDIC

You will act as a role model for all Critical Care Paramedics providing clear mentorship and coaching within PHEM. Additionally, you will take on an area of special responsibility to support the Clinical Shift Managers in their unit responsibilities.

CLINICAL SHIFT MANAGER

Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager, you will oversee a team of Senior Critical Care Paramedics, Paramedics and Trainee Critical Care Paramedics, providing first line management and ensuring day to day operations are delivered. Essential to this role will be the undertaking of key responsibilities ranging from education, audit and workforce

CLINICAL GOVERNANCE LEAD

You will provide clinical governance and effective engagement of clinical staff in patient care. Supporting the Medical Director in identifying, reviewing and reporting on all areas of patient contact.

THAMES VALLEY AIR AMBULANCE CRITICAL CARE PARAMEDIC & TRAINEE CRITICAL CARE PARAMEDIC

You will provide advanced critical care to patients in need, ensuring the highest levels of patient care are delivered. You will engage in appropriate training and education to maintain appropriate skills and CPD.

*Trainee Critical Care Paramedic posts are open to those with a minimum of 3 years post registration experience.
